On October 1, 2024 the Credit Union will be moving to a new Core Processor. The Core Processor is basically the software that keeps track of your money and loans. This is a major project we have been working on for about a year.
All KTFCU offices will be closed for one day on October 1st for this conversion.
The Virtual Branch will be unavailable September 30th at 5pm until October 4th mid-day!! Scheduled Bill Pay payments will continue to process. Scheduled Transfers will process on October 4th.
We are making this change because our current system is being replaced.
We have worked hard to minimize the changes members will see but 2 changes will occur:
- The numbers associated with your accounts will change, your number 6 Savings account might be a number 54 now.
- The couples who setup individual logins to Virtual Branch will go back to shared logins.
Lobby:
- Members who come into the lobby will not notice any changes except we will be slow. Staff have done a lot of training, but it will take us some time before we get quick at the new software.
Virtual Branch:
- Your Virtual Branch login and password will not change.
- Virtual Branch users will be able to send money directly to another member if they know their member number. You can save that link with a name that means something to you for easy use again.
- Your Bill Pay transaction will not need to be setup again and will continue during the transition (Monday evening the 30th to October 4th)
- Any Scheduled transfers you made in Virtual Branch will not need to be setup again. Those scheduled before the transition will transfer on October 4th.
- Nicknames you assigned in Virtual Branch will still be there.
